My school took us 8th graders on a big field trip to the Omaha Zoo! It was so much fun! We had to get to school by 6, and didn't get home till' 8 pm. I loved it, we had sack lunch and pizza for dinner. I took so many pics and videos. Near the end I got kind of upset, I don't really know why.
Tomorrow I am getting confirmed, and I'm really worried. I'm usually really good at memorizing things, but I'm scared that I will forget everything tomorrow and totally mess up in front of my congregation. My dad will be there! He hasn't come to town since before I was born. I spent all of today with him after my confirmation rehearsal this morning. My sister and I showed him our schools, the high school, the park. All of it. I liked being with him, but he is different.
It's like he would rather treat me like an adult than his little girl. I am literally a head shorter than him, he is really tall! I am his little girl. And all I want to do around him is hug him and never let go. But I am pretty sure I come off as clingy. I haven't seen him for so long, it's been like half a year! I just don't iknow what to do with myself around him.
I have to go to bed soon, but I still have to clean, and I have to practice my lines. Wish me luck for tomorrow. I'm so tired....
