Freshman Year!!!!

That's right!! I'm finally going into high school! I'm so very very nervous right about now. Seeing as I have 12 days left of summer. I have been washing clothes like crazy so I have something to wear. And I've been trying to clean more around the house because my cats have fleas and I don't want to somehow give my cats fleas to anyone else. I'd feel so bad if that happened.

This year the high school has new rules. 1st, we aren't allowed to carry our backpacks around the school. We have to leave everything in our lockers except for what we need for our next class. 2nd, we have to wear shirts that completely cover our shoulders. In middle school the shirt just had to have a 2 inch wide strap. This rule kinda makes me happy, but still makes me sad. I have nice shirts that don't cover my entire shoulder, but they don't reveal anything either. I'm happy that the girl in my middle school that like to wear see through shirts with purple bras can't wear those anymore. :D I love when the really revealing girls are forced to be modest.

I have lots of classes this year, and it turns out my first class will be Orchestra. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I mean, do I still have homeroom? When's that? I don't know anything about high school. And I'm worried that I'll be bullied because I'm a ginger and a freshman. Being a ginger has gotten me a lot of comments in the past. But I've learned to love them. Still,  getting bugged by a whole high school will not be fun. Especially because I'm a ginger by design, not by dye.

Lots of people don't think I have red hair, until they see it in the right sunlight. Then they know that I'm a freaking ginger extreme. :) The rest of the time my hair looks auburn. I don't mind mostly, but sometimes I just wish my hair could be red red all the time. I don't like being called a brunette, not that there is anything wrong with brunette's, it's just that i"m not one. And i get tired of always being told I have brown hair. :(
