The Jungle Book

So I'm in a play, yet again. This is my............fifth. There was; DooWop Wed Widing Hood, On the Road to Bremmentown, Alice in Wonderland, and Imagine Nation. I was in the chorus, then I was a smart robber, then I was Tweedledee, then I was the Mother.

This is my first lead, I have to admit that I am very happy with the attention. I was on the news, and apparently I was mentioned on the radio, and then I was on the front page of the local newspaper! I play Shere Khan, the dreadfully evil tiger that wants to kill Mowgli and take over the jungle. But of course Mowgli saves the day. Sometimes I feel sorry for Shere Khan, he is always by himself. And it's a little wierd playing a guys part, especially when they didn't change the script so I can be called a "she". I'm dressed like Tarzan's wife. It's a strange costume but I'll live. As long as someone doesn't steal my outfit again.

Yah, that happened. In DooWop I was in the chorus and we all had special outfits that matched, someone stole mine right before my second performance. I had to improvise fast. In the end, my clothes got returned a few days after our last performance. Now I have issues trusting people with my costume. But once again, I'll live. :D

I'm gonna go get ready for practice, I still have to put on socks and shoes, make my lunch, and get a bag for my costume. Not necessarily in that order. :) Bye all, it was nice chatting with you.
