I mentioned before I have been using Pinterest. And that I use the Geek page. On the geek page there are a lot of quotes and things having to do with a show called "Sherlock". It's a British show about a modern day Sherlock Holmes. Seeing it be so popular made me wonder if it's any good, but because it is only on the BBC channel and not BBC America, I can't watch it. So last night I spent a good 30 minutes going to about 20 different sites trying to find one that would let me watch the first episodes for free, without downloading anything. I thought it didn't exist, but I finally found one. I won't tell you what it is, because I'm not sure myself. But it worked for me, and I succeeded in watching 3 episodes of Sherlock Holme's be a smart aleck and a fantastic "consulting detective".
Finally I was too tired to watch any more and I went to bed, where my dreams were a cacophany of Sherlock and Doctor Who. I don't remember much, but I know that there was a sonic screwdriver involved, the console room of the Tardis, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Very strange things. Now, waking up this morning I had an unusual urge to read a good book. So I settled down with a cup of tea and Harry Potter, I read for a couple hours. Then I had an urge to write.
Now here I am, working on my fanfiction "Companion" I've made quite a few changes, and rewritten a couple paragraphs so far. I'm trying to improve it, because I know when I originally typed out the first couple chapters I was very plain and it was very uninteresting. Almost no adjectives, boring grammar, boring plot, boring conversation. I think it's much better now, though I haven't gone through the entire thing yet.
I'm a little conflicted, now I have another urge, this one to watch another episode of Sherlock. But I haven't yet finished going through "Companion". I don't know which to choose, but I think it's swaying toward Sherlock. I beleive that if I'm more interested in watching it than I am in typing, my work won't be as good as it could be. So it's worth it to take a break. Right? I think so.
I'll talk to you another time, enjoy your day. :)
