90 degree weather

During my lunch, after we finish eating we are allowed to go into the courtyard and hang out. Today was no exception, and going outside was a welcome relief from the icy hallways and classrooms. It was blissfully warm, I layed my head down at one of the picnic tables let my body soak in the heat. By the time we went back to class, my hair was almost untouchable, it was so hot.

But after school the heat I left the building to find the heat had risen. Now the heat was so intense it clogged my lungs. I had to wait outside for only 10 minutes before my sister left her school and came out to take me home, but still I felt faint from the temperature, as I sat in her car I began to get dizzy and I couldn't keep my eyes open. So I sat with my eyes closed while we went to pick up her friend. While waiting in the car, I felt like I was roasting and my legs were on fire.

I didn't become lucid until we had finally left and I could feel a breeze through the window. I recovered quickly once I got home, our concrete walls keep the heat out very well. Now I feel fine. But I'm cautious about leaving the house. Normally I deal with heat very well, and cold for that matter. But when it catches me off guard, I'm helpless.

How do you guys deal with temperature changes? Does it hit you hard, or do you take it in stride? Comment and let me know.
